Le Nido, meaning “The Nest” in Italian, is a carefully prepared and secure environment in creche, where babies can freely explore, manipulate, and discover. Soft mats, wooden toys, and sensory objects invite exploration and experiential learning.
Guided by the principles of observation and child-centered learning, our dedicated team of educators places the utmost importance on fostering each child’s unique physical and emotional well-being. From the awakening of their senses to the mastery of walking, we support them on their journey of discovery, empowering them to develop their independence and instilling in them a sense of security that is essential to their holistic development.
Free movement
No playpens, no cots with bars: babies rely on their environment, testing the limits of their bodies and experimenting with new positions. At their own pace, they gain confidence in themselves and in their movements.
Brachiation bar
A wall-mounted bar, placed in front of a large mirror at a child’s height, encourages children to push up to stand and move sideways. Muscular strengthening, balance and coordination, gross motor skills, a sense of risk and adventure – the benefits are numerous for little ones. The mirror helps children develop body awareness.

VISUAL ACTIVITIES
Captivated by everything around them, babies’ senses wide open to absorb the contrasts, transparency, and primary colours that fill their surroundings. Montessori mobiles, carefully designed tools of early learning, play a pivotal role in nurturing this innate desire for exploration.
GRIPPING ACTIVITIES
The sense of touch plays a crucial role in babies’ early development. By providing a variety of tactile materials, we offer a rich sensory environment that stimulates exploring hands and budding minds.
Peaceful sleep
Sleep is a fundamental need for babies, essential for their physical and cognitive development. At our Nidos, we carefully design and curate sleep spaces that provide a nurturing environment for peaceful and restorative naps. Babies are enveloped in a bubble of softness: the room is free of clutter and designed to create a calm, relaxing atmosphere.
We use floor beds, in line with the principle of free psychomotricity. Of course, children remain under the constant supervision of our educators, who ensure that everyone sleeps in complete safety.
